Scholarship Program

Cara Transition House offers an annual scholarship to one of its current or ex-residents to support and encourage that individual’s education goals. This scholarship may be awarded only one time to an individual. The value is not to exceed $500 and is limited to 10% of the monies fundraised by Cara Transition House in the previous fiscal year.

To be eligible students must meet the following criteria:

• Be a current or ex-resident of Cara Transition House
• Be enrolled in a full time post-secondary program at a recognized institution

To apply for the scholarship:

Submit a copy of your most recent transcript

• Complete and submit the Cara Transition House Scholarship Application form no later than September 1st
• Applications can be submitted to administration@carahouse.com or by mail to: Executive Director, Cara Transition House, P.O. Box 305, Gander, NL, A1V 1W7

Scholarships will be awarded annually by October 15th.
